SHOULD OUR UNELECTED /SELECTED PARAMOUNT CHIEFS BE VOTING ON BILLS/LAWS PASSED IN PARLIAMENT? IS THE UNCOMPULSORY COLONIAL LEGACY AND CONVENTION RENDERING THEIR CONTINUOUS VOTING WITH THE GOVERNING PARTY IN PARLIAMENT STIFFLYING DEMOCRACY?

Paramount Chiefs power to vote on Bills must be removed. These Chiefs DO NOT PAY NOMINATION FEES and their election/selection  is separate from the main election. That is why the Governor General 1967, Sir Henry Lightfoot-Boston, REFUSED TO COUNT THEM IN  the result and solved the “32/32 problems.”.  We must go by that precedent. Their place in Parliament and voting comes in by way of a convention- it is NOT COMPULSORY for the chiefs to ALWAYS VOTE for the government. THIS POLICY IS AN UNFORTUNATE BREACH OF DEMOCRACY. They are bringing INJUSTICE TO DEMOCRACY! We must remove the chiefs right to vote on issues. THIS IS NOT DEMOCRACY- Go back to 1967 and how Chiefs come to be leaning towards the government. We must CORRECT that important imbalance PLEASE READ KOTOR KAMARA'BRIEF ON THE CHIEFTANCY'S ROLE IN SIERRA LEONE POLITICAL ADMINISTRATION AND  DEMOCRACY!  https://www.facebook.com/groups/269710820082105/permalink/1159501651103013/ Chief Bai Bureh (Hut Ta
