The Abolition of the Death Penalty Act, 2021, would not stand the test of time if the Government of President Bio ignores the constitutional provisions as described in the Constitution; in other words, any attempt to do otherwise (i.e. not complying with the provisions as stated in the Constitution) in terms of enacting a new constitution or altering any of the entrenched provisions in the constitution would amount to a “kerfuffle” (i.e. just a mere unnecessary excitement).
